Amnezia Hosting Wiki

The knowledge base for Amnezia Hosting clients — how to connect to your server, set up your VPN, and manage your hosting.

Where to start

  1. Go to the client area — it's where you get your server details (IP, login, password) and can manage the server (reboot, reinstall the OS).
  2. Connect to the server over SSH — the Quick Start section walks you through it, even if you've never used a terminal before.
  3. Install the AmneziaVPN app and set up your VPN in three steps — see VPN Setup.
  4. If something goes wrong, check the FAQ or message Telegram support.

One server, the whole toolkit

Besides a VPN, the same server can run secure file storage or a site on the Tor network — all through the same AmneziaVPN app.

🙌 Built together with the community

This wiki was not written by the support team alone. Amnezia users sent in working configurations, screenshots, error breakdowns, and corrections to the text — thanks to them these guides describe what actually happens on servers and inside ISP networks, rather than the ideal scenario.

Thanks to everyone who helped. If you would like to add your own experience, there is a “Suggest an edit” button at the bottom of every page, and questions or corrections are welcome via support.

Special thanks to Shidla for helping with this wiki and for the Amnezia instructions our AmneziaWG pages are built from.
